Parental separation is tough on all members of the family, especially children. If you and your children's other parent are divorced or separated, we offer comprehensive,
confidential and caring assistance. Families First provides a two part series designed to help you do what is best for your kids.

Part 1: What's Best for the Kids
Learn methods for coping, what helps kids, how to improve family communication, and maximize quality time with your kids.

Part 2: Communicating with the Other Parent
Building on the first class, explore how to relate to your co-parent to minimize harm to your kids and learn tips for parenting after divorce.

• Classes are offered monthly in Missoula and three times annually in Ravalli County
• Co-parents are asked to take separate classes
• Cost* is $35/class in advance or $45/class the day of; childcare is included

  *Families will not be turned away due to an inability to pay. A sliding scale and payment plan are available.

Mediation & Parenting Plans
Additional shared parenting services include mediation consultations, as well as creating parenting plans that address the needs of both parents. Call 406.721.7690 to schedule an appointment with Katie Deuel, Parenting Plan Specialist. Consultations are $90/hour, however you may apply for a reduced rate.
