PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
for kids:
- Turning the Wheel Creative Movement for Children & Caregivers
Turning the Wheel facilitators host a creative movement morning session at the Children's Museum twice a month. Bring your little ones to the circle for a half-hour of being together in play, movement, and sound. Call Heidi at the Children's Museum at 541-7529 with any questions - otherwise, see you in the circle!
- Themed Weeks
Throughout the next few months the Children's Museum will have an extra bonus! Each week will have a new theme from "Alphabet," to "Snow Globes." Al of these themes will come with special art projects and may even invite you and the kiddos to dress up! So be on the lookout for extra special events happening from week to week! Learn More

Each month the museum will have a special theme. The theme will include special art projects, books, and more. In this program guide look for our November (Montana) Theme, December (All About Words) Theme, and the January (Snow) Theme!
- Fun With Yoga
It's time for the Yogi Pokey! Enjoy a relaxing class for kids and their grown-ups. Facilitated by Sara Flanery.
- Mismo
Join us as we explore new and fun physical activities to strengthen our bodies and minds! Facilitated by MISMO.
- Let's Dance!
In this class we dance to music, play pretend, and get moving! For kids of all ages and their grown-ups.
- Toddler Playgroup
The Toddler Playgroup gives tiny tots a chance to learn, play and imagine! Participants enjoy facilitated activities such as story time, songs and sensory games, with time for caregivers to network and socialize. During most Toddler Playgroups Families First Parenting Programs Manager, Dara Newman, will be present to discuss any parenting questions you may have.
- Face Painting
Join us on select days for fabulous free face painting! Kiddos can pick from many shapes and pictures.
- Weekend Activity
The Weekend Activity could be an art project with Hannah, a story read by a special guest, sculpting with Angie, or fun with motion, whatever the activity it is sure to be a surprise!
- Fit Kids With Lori
Lori is a fitness instructor and she guides kids through fun fitness activities to get kids started on lifelong healthy habits.
For the family:
- First Friday
Join us for the First Friday Gallery Walk featuring artwork created by a local school or community organization. Experience an evening of art appreciation, snacks, friends and fun. Admission is free from 5-7pm!
